📢 The Lancaster County Food Hub will be closed for services on Thursday, 11/28, and Friday, 11/29 in honor of Thanksgiving.

We’ll reopen on Monday, 12/2, during our regular business hours. 🕒

The Cranksgiving event brought together cyclists for a unique food drive by bicycle, collecting 457 lbs. of food to benefit the Food Hub. Over at Overlook Golf Course, a separate food drive resulted in an amazing 474 lbs. donated!

We’re so grateful for the outpouring of community support, making a real impact for neighbors in need.

Because of your incredible support, the Food Hub connected with more families in 2023 than ever before. This year, there has already been a 30% increase in families seeking assistance, reflecting the struggles many face with rising food costs, escalating housing prices, and everyday challenges.

The reality is that anyone can find themselves in difficult circumstances. Families in Lancaster are navigating unique hardships, often forced to make tough choices between rent, medicine, childcare, and the basic needs of food and clothing. These struggles remind us that we must rethink and challenge the myths surrounding poverty and homelessness.

We could not have met this increased demand without our amazing volunteers and generous donors. Your dedication and compassion have amplified the voices of those who are often overlooked. Together, we are creating pathways for families to transition from hardship to hope and from instability to progress.
