4 Weeks until the CROP Walk! ♥

Celebrating its 51st year, we are excited to once again be a part of the Lancaster County CROP Walk – with 25% of proceeds going towards the Lancaster County Food Hub! The Food Hub will have a team and we are inviting any and all to join us at the walk to participate for a day of exercise and good fellowship. We hope you join us on Sunday, October 15th at 1pm!

The Food Hub got a surprise visit from the @centra

The Food Hub got a surprise visit from the @centralpafb yesterday to have a quick Hunger Action Month celebration! ❤️

The Central PA Food Bank is a great partner and resource to the Food Hub. As a warehouse and distribution center, the Central PA Food Bank distributes food to local pantries and soup kitchens. The Food Hub, which is an XL food pantry, receives this food and distributes it directly to neighbors in need.

The LSC event brings the whole automotive community to one place for an incredible supercar show & rally, with millions worth of high-end luxury supercars in attendance.

The Food Hub is using a $20,000 Level Up & Launch

The Food Hub is using a $20,000 Level Up & Launch grant from United Way of Lancaster County, PA to launch the process of formalizing and scaling up assistance to individuals who lack stable housing after exiting some form of confinement: residential mental health treatment, addiction recovery or incarceration. You can help us level up! Your donation towards this program is matched up to $20,000, and United Way will continue to match your donation $1 to $1, from now until October 31st.

❤️ CROP Walk – Sunday, October 15th from 1-3pm. Located at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (64 Hershey Ave, Lancaster, PA 17603) Looking for volunteers to join the Food Hub team!

Nearly 50,000 people in Lancaster County face food insecurity, meaning that a staggering one in eleven Lancaster residents experience limited or uncertain access to adequate food. Last year, the Lancaster County Food Hub served 35,000 of these neighbors. As service levels continue to increase in 2023, we ask you to join us throughout #HungerActionMonth, so together, we can make a unique impact — one bag of food, one pair of socks, and one warm bed at a time.

This month we celebrate a milestone - 2 years since the opening of The Welcome Place! ❤️

The Welcome Place is Lancaster's ONLY low-barrier, emergency overnight shelter offering adult men and women a safe place to sleep 365 days a year. It is also a day time drop-in center that provides outreach services 5 days a week. Together, they support our unsheltered neighbors, helping them to find hope and confidence and guiding them as they navigate difficult situations.

We are grateful for our team and thankful for our gracious partners who support our clients and the work we do every day.
