This September, we are partnering with Feeding America to promote Hunger Action Month. This is a time when people across America stand united against hunger. Together, we believe we can make a difference.

At the Lancaster County Food Hub, we give food and clothing to Lancaster County residents. We serve our neighbors on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:30-11:30am.

Here’s how we are working to end hunger:

Every month, Lancaster County residents can come to the Lancaster County Food Hub to receive 90 pounds of food, which includes shelf-stable food items like pasta and soup, fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy, eggs, and bakery bread.

When families receive food from the Food Hub, they are able to make about 75 meals. We help our neighbors to thrive in meeting their basic needs, while providing fresh and healthy fruits and vegetables.

We need your help. In America, it is estimated that 54 million people are food insecure right now, which includes 18 million children. (source:

In Lancaster County alone, over 52,000 people are food insecure. 16% of children who live in Lancaster County are currently living in poverty. A staggering 61% of Lancaster residents are living below the poverty line. (source:
